Rumors about controversial radio host Howard Stern joining the “American Idol” judges’ table after Simon Cowell’s departure at the end of this season have been swirling for awhile, and Stern has discussed the talk openly on his Sirius Radio show. In his latest bit of “Idol” chatter, the shock jock said that he would only get on board if two judges currently on the show — Ellen DeGeneres and Kara DioGuardi — were shown the door.

“What do you want me to tell you? Listen, I won’t work with Ellen DeGeneres or Kara DioGuardi. If I go to ‘American Idol’, they’re out,” he told New York Post reporter Cindy Adams on Thursday night. “They don’t have an opinion. You gotta be with it, you gotta make the show happen.”

Stern, who spoke Adams on the red carpet at the New York City premiere of “Green Zone,” didn’t name potential replacements for DioGuardi and DeGeneres, but he did say he would bring his own people on board. “When I come in there, I’m gonna bring a couple of people — my own people with me — and we’re going to take that show to new heights,” he added. “Someone sings bad, we take the trap door and throw them right down the trap door. I’m going to put an electric dog collar on the contestants, when they screw up I’m going to shock ‘em. You understand? We’re going to talk a real show.”

Stern also engaged in some public salary negotiations, telling “Entertainment Tonight” how much he thinks he should get paid. “I read in the paper that they want to give me $100 million to judge a karaoke contest, and that seems like pretty good pay for something as dumb as that,” Stern said.

He also added his thoughts on DeGeneres’ first week behind the judges’ table. “Ellen has said she won’t work with me, but quite frankly, after watching her on the stupid show, I gotta tell ya, I won’t work with Ellen,” he said. “She’s out if I come in.”

A new featurette is online showing some of the behing the scenes stuff on the set of the upcoming Iron Man 2, and some sites are already suggesting that there is more to the featurette than just recycling some trailer footage and some confident words from the cast.

So aside from that staggering shot of Scarlett in that busty black top, rumour has it that there is a quick peek cameo of THOR in there. Apparently in the supermax prison for supers, we see a bearded guy getting his picture taken in a cell, and speculation suggests that might actually be the God of Thunder.

Now I don’t know that was Thor, there doesn’t seem to be any reason to think it was. He isn’t blond, doesnt look much like Hemsworth, but this is as clear a shot as we have of him.

Maybe just a desperate hope of someone saying “Look I saw it first!” and if that’s the case, I want to say I think it is more likely that it would be Hawkeye (who in the comics was first thought to be a theif that Widow hires to steal tech from Stark Enterprises and later joins the Avengers)

A new trailer for the 2010 remake of The Karate Kid has aired online, starring Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith (Will Smith’s son). A remake could do wonders for the 1984 version. The film is helmed by Harald Zwart, and is set to be released on June 11.

A new trailer for the upcoming remake/reboot of A Nightmare on Elm Street has hit the web over on MySpace, and it delivers a lot more footage than the initial teaser trailer did. We get a few good glimpses of Jackie Earle Haley as Freddy Krueger,

In the epic action-adventure, a rogue prince (Gyllenhaal) reluctantly joins forces with a mysterious princess (Arterton) and together, they race against dark forces to safeguard an ancient dagger capable of releasing the Sands of Time—a gift from the gods that can reverse time and allow its possessor to rule the world.

Apple has posted the new trailer for Oliver Stone’s Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, coming to theaters on April 23. 20th Century Fox’s follow-up to the 1987 drama stars Michael Douglas, Shia LaBeouf, Josh Brolin, Frank Langella, Carey Mulligan, Susan Sarandon, Vanessa Ferlito and Charlie Sheen.

Sandra Bullock had a banner year in oh-nine with The Blind Side and The Proposal. The latter only cost $40million to make, and raked in an impressive $315million worldwide. That’s no Avatar, but still with results like that, there is going to be a sequel in the works right?

Well that’s how it works isn’t it? Apparently not how Disney rolls lately.

NYMag says:

The studio behind the original hit has told the producers that it’s not interested in making a follow-up to one of its biggest 2009 hits. It’s all part of Disney’s new edict to make, essentially, only two kinds of films: The $150 million-plus blockbuster with lots of CGI and merchandising (i.e., anything that was once a ride at Disneyland or already a Disney title; anything old or new from Pixar; or a major character at Marvel Studios, for which it paid $4 billion last year) or the $30 million project with young, cheap, on-the-cusp movie stars. (Think Freaky Friday, a Disney-associated title which the studio is talking about making yet again, just seven years after the Lindsay Lohan remake.) “Everything in the middle,” says one producer on the Disney lot, “is toast.”

Tekken is looking like it might have some great action to it.

A little behind the scenes doc is now online showcasing many of the stunts and how they decided on the look and feel of the movie.
